2 Weeks…
I was kinda busy to blog for the past 2 weeks or lotsa things happened so I don’t know where to start.
Hmm.. it started…
2 weeks ago, I went to become a crew for a convention called Mind Mastery Convention 2007. And I’ve made a new friend, Keng Ling. We met during board game session called Zero to Heros but we didn’t talk much though at that time… not until MMC, we get to know each other better.
And then.. it was Jacky Cheung concert. We decided to go for the concert last minute. 4 of us, me, lenny, keng ling and jaq. We all loved the concert!
After the concert, we were all itchy to sing so we actually planned for Karaoke. Because of some reasons, we have to wait until Monday. Meanwhile, Jaq and Keng Ling went to Seremban on Sunday for a training. And guess what they brought me all the way from Seremban.
Yes. Nothing else but the Seremban Siu Pao.
But this was not just any siu pao. This one was ’siu pao with love’ and we called it ‘ai sam siu pao’
because Keng Ling drove all the way to my house just to deliver the siu pao at 1am. So sweet. If she was a guy, I’ll probably fall in love with her already! Too bad Keng Ling, I can only help you to look for a good bf (wink wink).
And finally, the much awaited karaoke session to cure our concert withdrawal symptoms. Haha..Ha.. The best thing is we all took Monday off and went to sing during lunch time. It was only RM9 per person with lunch set for 5 hours singing time. Pheww…
After K, it was still kinda early so went for a movie – Hairspray. Jaq was shaking her leg to the beat from starting to the end. So we have no choice but to join the beat. And I actually think John Travolta was quite good.
Few days later, Keng Ling told me Popular bookstore, Sungei Wang having clearance sale up to 90%. So we drove to KL and check it out. Got myself some books and the Ghibli collection because it was damn cheap after discount.
Finally comes to today, we went for a Free workshop – Business Psychology Workshop. It was quite good workshop because they only limit it to 30 people, and the best thing is it was not a talk. It was more like attending a one day course. The first thing we were asked to do was to analyse an ad. Hehe… isn’t that such a piece of cake?
Finally, Keng Ling also gave me a book called ‘The Little Prince’. I’ve heard about it for long time but never read it before. It’s a classic tale of equal appeal to children and adults. Also said this is a thought-provoking allegory of the human condition. Hmm.. interesting… have to read and find out more…

Good news is MPS had already canceled the dog catching competition. Woohoo! Lily actually sent me the whole story of what happened and why MPS canceled the competition but it was just too long, so Lily why don’t you tell me next time when we meet.
And yes, I agree with you Chee Chiaw. The government should do a competition for hunting illegal indon immigrants. They cause more problem than the dogs. Good idea!

Meanwhile YK, no matter your eyes are black or yellow, black turning yellow, yellow black, black yellow, you are still pretty okay. =)
The Fatso In My Life.
Yes. I have two dogs. One is my dearest Bubbles (left) another one is my dear Fatso (right).
Why such an unfair name?
A year ago, Melissa and I found 20+ abandoned dogs. Because of our angel heart, we decided to help rehome the doggies no matter what.
Fatso, looks good in this picture but could you imagine how she actually looked like one year ago? She didn’t look good at all, she had skin problems, ears infection, her left eye can’t see anymore and her right eye can barely see clearly as well. She was the last dog left because no one wants to adopt her because of her left eye. I brought her home, she sticked with me for few weeks and slowly adapt herself staying at my house. I am still trying to rehome her because mom wasn’t too happy with too many dogs in the house.
Finally, there was this girl quite keen to adopt Fatso even knowing about her eyes. I was so happy, I thought she finally found a home. Two days later, the girl called back and said she couldn’t bring Fatso home because she is staying with her cousin and her cousin already have 2 dogs. So, there’s no space to keep Fatso.
Huh. I was very disappointed actually. But, this was when ‘there is love in the family’
my parents said we are going to keep Fatso. Obviously because they know I would like to keep Fatso as well. And I must say most of the time, my parents help me to take care of my dogs. I love them a lot and am thankful and grateful that they love me as well as my dogs. God bless them.
Oh ya, come back to the name… my aunt came to my house one day and when she saw the dog she asked me “who’s that fei poh?” And from that day onwards, she is Fatso.
Me and my dog
This is my dog, Bubbles. She’s cute and adorable. Am i right or right?
I can’t remember why i named her Bubbles but somehow the name fit her so well. It’s just right to call her Bubbles (gal) after all.
Well, although she’s the cutest to me, she (generally) only listen to few commands like sit and ball (that’s when she wants to play). Other than that, everything else depends on her mood. Hmm.. sound like me too? She loves to eat. When you ask “Are you hungry?”, that’s not the correct question though… coz she’s always hungry (that’s not because i didn’t feed her enough).
I remember when she was about 1 y.o., i brought her to a vet to get neuter. Not because I’m inhuman or I’m against the nature (something like that..) but I did some research on the internet and it says that the dog will be healthier and they can actually live longer. That’s according to the vet as well, ok? And then, my friend told me that this vet (in PJ) is a very loving and caring vet. Loves dogs a lot and definitely a good vet. So, i drove like 40min to get there (with yeekiat) and leave bubbles with the vet (no, i was very worried) and I can only come back in the evening. Then, we went to MV (?) can’t remember la..
Anyway, when it’s the time to go pick up Bubbles, I drove all the way back with YeeKiat, was very excited and still worried. It was raining. I parked my car, rushed to the vet and paid and he asked me to go inside to collect Bubbles. Huh.. guess what? The loving and caring doctor put my dearest bubbles outside the rain with only a littleeee bit of shelther and she got all wet!! And she was trembling. My heart was like ‘craccckkk’. Sakit hati-nya. I still remember the first thing that YK said was “Wa..such a loving doctor..”
We reached home, bubbles wasn’t feeling so well (can see that…). She hid herself under the couch, refused to come out, refused to eat. ‘craaacckkkk’ My heart was aching, worried and so upset until I have to bring my pillow and blanket to sleep next to the couch (in the living room) so that I can make sure she is fine.
Hmm… I guess the vet is really a loving doctor, he loves dog a lot. Perhaps he is just…. a man?
